Synopsis
The Wind River film tells of Cory Lambert (Jeremy Renner) a man who works in the Department of Fisheries and wildlife as a hunter of Coyotes and other wild animals. Cory grieves over the death of her teenage daughter.
While on duty, Cory finds the body of a young woman who has been frozen and almost covered with snow, in the cold in the middle of a very silent forest. It seems to be a victim of rape. Cory immediately took action by sending a woman from an FBI agent, Jane Banner from the Las Vegas office to resolve the rape case. Cory was obliged to help Jane who had trouble facing her wild obstacles in the forest and the weight of the terrain they had to face to find out what had really happened in order to resolve the case immediately.
During an investigation, Jane realized that Cory was a reliable figure.
