Brawl in Cell Block 99 is an action and crime movie that tells the story of a man who is a former famous boxer named Bradley (Vince Vaughn). Bradley had to lose his job as an auto mechanic and his marriage became problematic and walked towards a divorce. Bradley and his wife lived a modest life, one day when he was fired from his job and could no longer bear the plight of his life. Bradley finally decided to become a drug dealer. But unfortunately he was arrested by the police and had to stay in prison. As a result, Bradley became the target of the Mafia Boss who had been harmed millions of dollars. Bradley must obey the mafia boss's will, otherwise his pregnant wife and the child in her womb will be killed.
Bradley had just been fired from his job, besides, his wife named Lauren was having an affair with someone. Finally Bradley is frustrated with his wife, he is also stressed with his poor life. He wants to get rich quick. One night when Bradley was picking up Drug deliveries, he was arrested by a number of police officers and as a result he was in jail for about 7 years. Hearing the incident his wife was sad and feeling devastated, Bradley also did not want to negotiate with the police, so can get a punishment like that. Bradley walked into a medium-sized prison called Fridge. At the Fridge Bradley gets a Private Prison Room and a decent service. That's because in the prison there are schools and Boxing Programs. Bradley's prison rooms are also clean although the prison is still a prison.
But that all changed when a mob boss came to Bradley. Apparently due to Bradley's arrest, the boss so much loss with the value of losses of 3.3 million dollars. To pay the debt Bradley must obey all the Mafia Bosses' will. The Mafia boss wants Bradley to kill a villain named Christopher Bridge who is in a prison in Redleaf. The prison is a high-security prison.
