It is the latest film horror genre adaptation of Stephen King's novel published in 1986. The author is attached to the genre of horror supernatural and psychological thriller is back to explore the topic of trauma of childhood, the power of memory and the hidden values of a small town ritual . The development and adaptation of this film began in 2009. Cary Fukunaga (Jane Eyre) is also attached to this project, as well as Will Poulter (We're the Millers) who will portray the character of Pennywise. It is one of Stephen King's 15 Novels which was appointed to Film.
Synopsis
The film begins with children in the disappearing city of Maine and a group of other children who are terrorized by a clown named Pennywise who is actually a demon with the ability to change shape and appear amongst the panusia every 27 years. Pennywise tries to hunt down its victims by exploiting their fears and phobias and altering their form according to the fear of the victim, but he appears more often in the form of a clown in order to make it easier to hunt down the victims who are still children.
