Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone is an anime made with a modern version of Tokyo with a background of being attacked by a gigantic creature named Abgels who intends to annihilate all mankind. The 14-year-old teenager received a phone call asking her to come to the NERV center, a mysterious organization located around Lake Hakone. The leader of the NERV movement itself is Ikari Gendou as the supreme leader who is the father of Shinji and has never seen him. In a mission called "Operation Yashima, a mission to rescue the city of New Tokyo 3. NERV assigned to Shinji to be a pilot in the EVA 01 unit and collaborate with EVA 00 pilot unit that is Ayanami Rei as his partner.
When his mission begins to run, Shinji suffers from mental stress as opposed to his heart as a child, but he wants to show his father, so Shinji is known as a quiet figure who turns into a brave especially in the face of Angel's robot enemies, resulting in the realization of peace.
